8. Booking, Payments, Refunds & Cancellations
8.1 Booking & Payment
A non-refundable retainer is required to secure a booking.
Remaining balances must be paid by the deadline specified in the invoice/contract.
Bookings made close to the event date may require full payment upfront.
Failure to pay by the deadline may lead to cancellation with forfeiture of the retainer.
8.2 Refunds & Cancellations
Retainers are non-refundable except where Mejistic cancels (Section 8.4).
If the User cancels:
Before the cancellation window: the retainer is forfeited.
Within the cancellation window: the full balance becomes due.
If the event ends early at User or venue direction, no refund is issued.
8.3 Rescheduling
Must be requested in writing.
Changes are subject to availability and may require a fee.
If no alternate date is available, the retainer remains non-refundable.
8.4 Our Cancellation, Technical Issues & Force Majeure
If Mejistic cannot provide the Service due to:
Illness
Vehicle malfunction
Equipment failure
Unsafe weather
Unsafe conditions
Events beyond reasonable control
The User will receive either:
A full refund, or
A no-fee rescheduled date if available.
Partial delays may result in partial refunds or credits at Mejistic’s discretion.
8.5 Merchandise
All merchandise sales (e.g., stickers, prints) are final unless defective.

9. Payment Plan Options (Installment Plans)
Mejistic offers optional installment plans for Users who prefer to pay over time.
9.1 Payment Plan Structure
Payment plans may be offered in 12-month or 18-month formats.
Total plan cost and monthly rates are listed on the User’s invoice.
Payment plans include a service fee added to the base service price.
9.2 Example Plan Rates ($500 package)
12-Month Plan: $45/month (total: $540)
18-Month Plan: $35/month (total: $630)
Actual plans shown on the invoice may vary.
9.3 Authorization & Billing
Users authorize automatic monthly charges.
Users must maintain a valid payment method throughout the plan.
9.4 Missed or Failed Payments
If a payment fails:
A late fee may apply.
Mejistic may reattempt the charge.
After 10 days unpaid, the account may be placed on hold.
After 30 days unpaid, Mejistic may:
Cancel services,
Demand the remaining balance in full,
Initiate collections procedures.
9.5 Delivery of Services
Mejistic may require a minimum number of payments before service is delivered.
If minimum payments are not met, services may be postponed or cancelled without refund.
9.6 Cancellation During a Payment Plan
All installment payments and fees already paid are non-refundable.
Remaining balances may be due immediately depending on timing.
9.7 Service Fee Non-Refundable
Installment service fees are non-refundable administrative charges.
9.8 Collections & Legal Enforcement
If a User stops paying, disappears, or refuses to complete payments, Mejistic may:
1. Suspend all services.
2. Block access to photos, galleries, and media.
3. Demand immediate payment of remaining balance.
4. Refer the account to a collections agency.
5. File in California small claims court.
6. Add allowable collection and legal fees.
9.9 Chargebacks
Improper chargebacks violate these Terms.
Unresolved chargebacks may result in the full balance being sent to collections.
9.10 Media Ownership During Payment Plan
Until the plan is paid in full:
All photos, videos, and digital media remain property of Mejistic.
Users may not download, print, post, or publicly use media.
Unauthorized use may result in legal action.

10. Props, Costumes & Randomized Items
Props are provided as available and are not guaranteed.
Props rotate regularly for cleaning, repair, and replacement; selections vary by event.
Mejistic may prohibit props deemed unsafe, inappropriate, or damaging.
User-provided props are the User’s responsibility.
No food, drinks, or smoking are allowed inside the bus or near equipment.

11. Access, Parking, Location & Power Requirements
Users must provide:
Sufficient space for the vintage bus and guest movement,
Level ground and safe access routes,
Any required venue permissions or permits,
A 110V power outlet within reasonable reach (unless generator service is purchased),
Suitable parking arrangements.
If the bus cannot access the location or operate safely, service may be refused with no refund.

12. Travel Fees, Overtime & Idle Time
Travel fees depend on distance and package terms.
Overtime may be available in pre-defined increments at posted rates.
Idle time or early arrival holds may incur additional fees.

13. Guest Conduct, Safety & Damage
Users are responsible for guest behavior.
Mejistic may halt service without refund if guests engage in:
Harassment
Threats
Unsafe behavior
Abuse of equipment
Actions that endanger staff or property
Users are liable for all repair or replacement costs for damage caused by guests, children, vendors, or misuse.

14. Media Ownership & Usage Rights
14.1 Ownership
All photos, videos, audio, and AI-assisted content created by Mejistic remain its intellectual property unless explicitly transferred in writing.
14.2 User License
Users receive a personal, non-commercial license to share and print delivered media once fully paid.
14.3 RAW Files Not Provided
RAW files or unedited originals are not provided.
14.4 User-Provided Content
Users maintain ownership of content they upload, but grant Mejistic permission to host, process, modify, and incorporate that content to provide the Service.
14.5 Marketing Usage
Mejistic may use event photos and videos for promotional purposes unless the User opts out in writing.
14.6 Download & Sharing Restrictions
Users may not:
Scrape or bulk-download galleries,
Redistribute media,
Remove watermarks,
Misuse copyrighted materials.
Unauthorized use may result in legal action.

15. External Content and Links
Mejistic is not responsible for third-party websites linked on this Website.
Use of external resources is at the User’s own risk.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Website and Service are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.
Mejistic makes no guarantees regarding:
Accuracy or completeness of content,
Continuous operation,
Error-free performance,
Absence of harmful components.

17. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by California law, Mejistic is not liable for:
Indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages,

Total liability is limited to the amount paid by the User in the 12 months preceding the claim.

19. Service Interruptions
Mejistic may interrupt services for maintenance or updates.
